Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Turn off the lights Cal

Sheeze, this place is near flatlined. I don't blame anybody. I'm so disgusted with the bailouts and burned out on politics I just can't seem to get motivated enough to run my yap. We need some fodder, chum the hole if you will. How 'bout somebody invite the folks from PETA over here for a day or two? If I don't get some target practiceI might lose my edge.[8D]

Default RE: Turn off the lights Cal

This has been a different year for sure. Things normally slow down around Christmas anyway but this year has a Democrat being elected President and then NOT interfering with the still sitting Republican President. to make things quieter (there, I said the word), Barak is steadily moving back towards the center and is confounding the ultra-libs, not the conservatives. It's way too early for the liberals to bash Barama since he hasn't even been sworn in yet so much of the usual topics are quiet also. and, last but not least, there is a certain amount of shock at how the economy is getting worse and the government is determined to bail out everybody. Kind of like the ultimate corporate welfare. Just wait till spring when Barama's political honeymoon period is over and the ultra-liberals finally figure out that he's thrown them under the bus and probably isn't going to mess with guns either. Then the fireworks will start and we'll just sit back and smile.[8D]
