Our beloved president uttered these words a few days ago.What happened to the free market that has been so openly championed in here over the last couple years?Why is the government involved and why isnt it simply correcting itself?

Oddly many of the same ones that have championed the free market and no government intrusion are the ones that have defended this president endlessly without question.Youll notice he used the term I instead of we, hard to pin on the liberals when he confesses he himself has given up on free market principals.And how exactly is it still a free market if were bailing everyone and thier dog out?Someone in here has harped endlessly about Republicans being the only ones with pricipals, where are they now that everythings crashing and burning, they jumped ship pretty quick when push came to shove didnt they, blows that theory clean out of the water it would seem

I would like to meet the person who thinks everything is ok. Other that Wrangle and Dodd that is. You also have to consider how literally you take things that people say. How many people really thought that osama didn't know how many states there were. I don't like the guy but I really didn't think he was that stupid, I may be wrong.

I don't agree with any of the bail outs but I can see why many of the polititions didn't see a choice and can interpet what Bush says as more like what he meant. Bush and the Republicans lost me when they didn't slam the doors at the border when they had the votes to do it. I will never forgive them for that. However the Democrats are even worse IMO. The Republicans have just recently started acting like Democrats.

What it means to me? Just more political double talk. They all major at it.
