Ahmad Salim Judeh says if journalist Muntadhar al-Zeidi is interested the family is willing to send one of their daughters to Iraq along with her dowry.
Seems like the daughter the old guy offered the thrower is 20 (or older)? Isn't that pretty old to be getting married there? Maybe the old guy has alterior motives (like, maybe I can get this cow out of my house and make myself look good at the same time)? Are all the fathers in the region offering their daughters? I would think so, since everyone over there thinks and acts exactly alike........right?[8D]

No way CB--that can't be the case at all. The guy is a national hero--CNN said so! If he hadn't apologized for his actionshe would have been elevated to god status by early next week.........but,as it stands, it seems that only his shoes will be enshrined now. I'm sure there has to be an explanation as to why they guy isn't booked up with weddings (his own) for the entire year of '09. I'm sure CNN will have a logical explanation soon.
BTW, if you know any soldiers who are actually there and they say something contrary to what you hear on CNN, pay them no mind. They are just liars and/or gossips who do nothing but drive supply trucks up and down a 1/4 mile stretch and have to make up stories about how well things are going to keep themselves entertained. I got this from a reliable source, who got it from CNN, so I know it's true.[8D]

I'm surprised that the journalists of the world haven't yet resigned and deferred to his superior global insight.
If you think about it, we really couldn't even trust the reports that we were going to invade Iraq. After all, the only way we "knew" was by way of the reports from Fox, CNN, and the like. There were no high-school educated, candy-throwing 19 year old kids on the ground yet to validate or disqualify those reports through Chad.
The reports of this reporter being admired by thousands of Iraqis and other Arabs is simply false. Chad says so. American involvement in Iraq is the source for copious love and admiration from the Iraqi people. Chad says so. So don't believe anything you read or hear. It all lies and Chad has a super hero, soldier-wanna be T-shirt to prove it.
