Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Shock and Awe

I am absolutely awed by what I am seeing. The attitude of our fighting forces in Iraq is along the lines of " We will kick your ass at a time and place of our choosing" .

In Vietnam, the line was " We will not venture north of the 17th parallel because the guys in Washington said so."

What a contrast! Had we gone into Nam with the confidence and bravado that we are seeing in Iraq, sheeeeesh!!

I am impressed.

I think we learned a great deal from Nam. That the politicans sit back and let the warriors do the fighting. And they' re doing a spectacular job! GO USA

Now if we could get the press to stop making so many idiotic statements. They should just broadcast live footage AND sound from Iraq. It would be much better coverage.

rtread shock and awe is exactly what this whole campaign has been, our troops occupying one of Sadaams Palaces in Baghdad has to have created an awful lot of the shock and awe factor for any of Sadaams forces that have access to TV!
