Obamanites, you have been lied too
Just curious, how do yall feel now that yall have been lied to. Obama has not even taken office yet. His economic plans are looking very Republican. And what about all his crawfishing on all he promised. No tax breaks for 90%. No tax increase for the $250,000 and above. Let the Bush tax breaks run out instead of pulling and executive order. No pull out of Iraq on day one. Wont be able to pull social medicine. The centrist cabinet of Clintons past. You all got flat out lied too. The liberal wonderland has been crushed and day one has not even came.
Dont get me wrong, i'm seeing him in a whole new light. My only concern now is that he is going to jump on the gun ban, band wagon to appease his liberal base.

Unintended consequences and God have one thing in common: Liberals don’t believe in either of them.
I think that the more that Obama gets briefed on the economy, Iraq, etc. the more pragmatic he is gonna be, which means drifting to the middle. It is a pleasant surprise since he could try to take the ideological high ground and refuse to adapt to the situation and be more likely to give us another Jimmy Carter. I do agree though that he may try to use gun control as a bone to toss to the far left to quiet them down about some of his more moderate policies.

Buashamaniacs were lied to too - we all have a commanaility now don't we ?
Hey Brad, I am not sure if heard, but Bush is only serving another month and change. We elected a new president. Happened Nov.4. the discussion here is about bama.
Bush's last day in office can't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned. Any change is better than what we've been put through for the last 4 years. Personally, I hope Obama will be the best President that the US has ever had. And anyone is a fool if they don't feel the same way.

Personally....I am currently sitting in a cubical at work, eating fudge that someone brought in today. After work I get to go home and play my guitar for a couple hours, take my girlfriend to a movie, eat, and go to bed. Then get up and do the same thing again tomorrow. I can buy christmas presents for my whole family. I can pay my rent. I get to go hunting this weekend. Things could be a lot worse if you ask me.....but yes, even though I am skeptical about bama....I hope he does a really good job.

I went to a fight the other day, and a hockey game broke out.

I'm glad things are going great for you, but many can't say the same.As long as you keep the blinders on and don't get laid off, you should be fine.
