Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default "Family Values" Politician Meets His Doom

http://www.sanluisobispo.com/news/politics/story/552524.html

Rep. Vito Fossella was sentenced Monday to five days in jail for drunken driving, a humiliating coda to a political career ruined by revelations he'd fathered a child from an extramarital affair. Judge Becky Moore of Alexandria General District Court decided the New York Republican was so drunk he met the legal threshold for a five-day stint in jail.

"Congressman Fossella, I've been sworn to follow the law and so I must impose jail time," the judge told the ashen-faced lawmaker.

Nope. Just an equal opportunity basher who is not obsessed with Obama.

I'm sorry, I missed where he ran on "Family Values". Could you please provide the link?

it was a big part of his campaign

From a May 9th NYT article

His socially conservative positions were in sync with his mostly white, heavily Roman Catholic district, which covers all of Staten Island and a small wedge of Brooklyn. He opposes abortion, favored President Bush"™s tax cuts and voted with the Republicans 88 percent of the time last year, according to Congressional Quarterly.

So, this republican is about like Ted Kennedy and John Edwards, rolled up into one, except Fossella admits there is such a thing as values, which he fails at maintaining, and the Democrats, with their moral relativism and situational ethics, need not admit failure. COOL!!!
