What do you feel when you hear our National Anthem?
Hey Taz.... Whenever I hear the National Anthem, I stand up, cover my heart with my right hand and beam with pride. If I was still in my USCG uniform, I' d render a salute through its entirety. It makes me proud to be an American. Like Lee Greenwood sung:
" I' m proud to be an American, where at least I know I' m free
And I won' t forget the men who died who gave that right to me
And I' ll gladly stand up, next to you and defend her still today
' Cause there ain' t do doubt I love this land
GOD BLESS THE U.S.A"
Makes me think of my grandfather, uncle ,and the pride I felt serving in the Navy. Also to the many families such as Taz' s that have served and continue to serve.GOD BLESS THEN ALL, and TAz tell yuor family thank you for serving!
Taz, I may be old but I still feel the same way you do when I hear the National Anthem. I feel the same too, when I hear the Marine Corps Hymn. God bless you and your family....God bless all our troops.....God bless America.
