William Jefferson lost his reelection today. Time to party!!!

FYI, he was the congressman from New Orleans with 90K in FBI marked bills in his freezer.

Jefferson has been convicted of nothing. Ted Stevens ran for re-election a convicted felon. I hope there was similar rejoicing when Stevens lost.

You think Guo is gonna keep that seat for more than two years? Or will he be like the Republican who beat Rostenkowski: A one termer. What house seat did the GOP keep? Chambliss is in the senate.

Yep, old cool cash Jefferson is history. Because of the lucrative congressional pension he will cry all the way to the bank. He will not even lose it if he is convicted of a felony; what a deal the congressional pukes have.

Republicans got back the seat vacated by Foley in 06. Turns out the "family values" Democrat who replaced Foley cheated on his wife and took his girlfriend on congressional junkets.
