Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome

Or better known by its call letters, SARS. This is a deadly flu-like disease which originated from China I believe. Just recently I man was diagnosed with SARS three counties to my Southwest.
There is no cure for this disease and if the war was not going on, news channels would be all over this like flies on poop. Anybody else heard of this disease that is reaking havoc world wide?

I have also been keeping up with this. Its scarry. I hope they can contain it. I dont think they can. Its to easy to miss diagnose, allowing the vector to travel and spread.

Did they say where the person near you travelled to get the disease? Toronto' s the worst hit in North America.

Please don' t get too upset with this. Yes, it is serious but it is not fatal to everybody it touches. Over 700 people have contracted it, yet only 30 or 40 have died. Not a pretty picture for sure but not a death sentence by any means. Use common sense, wash your hands often, keep your hands away from your face as much as possible, and try to live a healthy life.

Johnny that is the dang truth!! Just like the West Niles virus that was killing a few folks last year down here in East Tx and Louisiana. The media went nuts over this when the risk was really almost 0% of getting it. The risk of getting in your car and getting killed was about 1,000 times more likely but they were actually telling people to " stay indoors unless you just have to go outside." Give me a break, it was not a real " epedemic" .

As for SARS, I sure hope they get it contained or figure out how to cure it. As for now, I' m not worried though. I' ve got enough to worry about.......I don' t need the media giving me anything else.lol

Yep, I' ve been keeping up with SARS a little.

Do any of yall think it could be a planted...manufactured virus? Like...a released modified strain of the flu?

I was just thinkin about this...wondered what yall would think.
