Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Tired of Dems and the GOP

I have aligned myself over the years with the GOP...but I am getting sick and tired of both parties...it's all about how the parties can get into office and how they can position themselves to keep their job for awhile...and who is better!
What about the people...the ones that are losing their jobs!...the ones that are losing their homes because they have lost their jobs....and so forth. For me it all amounts to the PEOPLE, to hell with the parties!

You got that right. I am starting to call them Republicrats. Talk about the McSame, it's a damn toss-up. The only thing that keeps me voting Republican is the fact that they are much better on gun ownership. I just flat out refuse to help any anti gunners in any way.

Avery tired of both the Repugnants and the Demonrats. One party is a crap sandwich and the other a crap sandwich with mayo. All our congressional representatives in DC care about is enriching themselves and their fat cat friends at taxpayer expense.

One thing continues to amaze me: Before the elections congress had an approval rating lower than whale crap. The same folks who gave congress that low approval rating returned 85 percent of them to congress for another term. Hypocritical does not quite cover it.

This country is so polarized that folks just vote for the party. It is time for us to vote some independents into congress. If 10 independents got elected to the US house in 2010the Democrat and Republican movers and shakers wouldbe shocked out of their stinking panties.

I've long held the belief that the "straight ticket" lever should be removed from voting booths, if you're too lazy to pull "D","D","D" then you don't deserve to vote...

The problem is the American voters have become more and more liberal, not to mention ignorant, every election, thats why the republicans have had to abandon their core conservative principals, to try to appeal to enough voters, to even get elected.

To say that republicans and democrats are one in the same, is quite frankly ridiculous, though. How can you compare obama, reed and pelosi, to mcain and palin ????

Personally I blame these middle of the road indies, who stand for nothing and vote based on the crap they absorb from the local news and pop culture.

This country doesnt deserve conservative or even centerist leadership , It deserves exactly what its gonna get jan 20th.

Do you dare to call whatwe have had for 8 years "conservative" leadership? It was not "conservative" leadership. It has been corruption and greed.Republican US house representative Renzi of AZ has been charged with racketeering and extortion. That pukey pedophile Foley was forced to resign from the US house. Dirty Duke Cunningham went to federal prison for tasking bribes from USdefense contractors."Freedom Fries" went to federal prison for taking money from Jack Abramoff and the tale goes on.

Well, all you champions of true "conservative" values had a chance to back Ron Paul, and your own dear, Republican Party black-balled him cause he dared to speak the truth and call out the party elite on their abysmal record and faux neocon platform of nothingness.

You had a chance to regain the party's heart and soul, but all those who helped give Paul the boot and voted for McCain simply sold out - and reaped what they sowed - an empty ticket based on a platform of waffling - nothing even close top the REAL conservative values Paul represented.

I Voted for McCane Palin mostly because the have a better record on gun issues but I other that that, it hard to call most of todays republicans conservative. They are much better that Dems on Guns but they are all soft on illegal immigration which ir my second biggest issue aftyer Guns and hunting.

Ron Paul 2012 and beyond. He's the ONLY guy out there that gets it AND isn't afraid to speak about it. The only thing that sucked was my ballot did not allow for a write-in, so I ended up voting for Barr. I agree w/ many on one thing: a two party system is advantageous only to those who serve in public office.

I kind of wish Glenn Beck would run for office again. There's another guy who doesn't give a rats arse about what people think when it comes to speaking about the issues.
