I'm pissed they changed the law. Believe me, I had my kids loaded and on the way more than once. Fortunately, I heard at 16 I can kick them out.

That law was one of the most rediculous I have seen in my lifetime. The legislators should be ashamed of themselves for ever passing that in the first place.

I'm glad my mom never heard about that. I never knew herto be religious, but when I told her I was getting married and moving out, she threw up her arms and cried out, "Thank you Lord."
(I'm just kidding about that. She actually hugged me and cried. My mom and I are very close.)

You can send them here but you'll have to still help feed and clothe them.
But seriously though it is sad the amount of older kids that are being dropped off. I had a friend while in H.S. whose sister was handicapped, the older she got and the bigger she grew the harder it was for his mom. She was a single parent and she kept Liz at home as long as she could but then had to put her in a facility, she still gets to visit, and of course pays room and board.
They should have taken a lesson from MN at least that is one thing we got right. If you don't want your baby you can drop it off at any hospital no questions asked.
