Thought I'd post this here too. I posted it in off season, but, some of you may not go there...
My Mom asked me to go to the bank with her tomorrow. Her banker wants to 'move' her accounts. I have no idea what that means.
Anyhoo...she has mutual funds & AIG is a biggy for her. She's lost I think $20,000. She doesn't know what the banker is doing. I don't know either.
Where can I get some info (easy to understand & reliable) on what to do with her account & the direction of AIG & what the government is doing with the bail out?
