Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

"Granholm's strengths are that she's charismatic, a good public speaker, she's outgoing. What job could Obama offer that takes advantage of those attributes? ... She could possibly be considered for chair of the Democratic National Committee," Ballenger said.
Her weakness, she has no idea how to heal a struggling state economy.

Haven't all of these people been involved in some sort of scandal recently?

Just close your eyes and bend over, this is going to hurt. And not for just a little bit.

I think this is good sign of what Obama means when he says he will rebuild the economy "from the bottom up." I'm afraid everybody will just level out, and we can all talk about how far the bottom used to be. It's not fair that some states unemployment figures are lower than others.

I think spread the misery is a better term than spread the wealth. It's a perfect illustration of back wards thinking.

I can understand that Germ, but Michigan is saddled with the domestic automakers. I don't think any governor of any state can do anything about GM, Ford, and Chysler losing money.

Cougar you're right ... Granholm isn't responsible for the auto stuff ... but she is responsible for not taking steps to guard against other economic mistakes across the rest of the state ...it's way deeper than the auto companies. Granhole has missed the boat on way more issues than what the auto companies have screwed up.
People are leaving Michigan faster than illegal aliens are entering California....
