Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

so you dont think obamacould beatMcCains old stiff rickety temper-tantrum throwing ...Deleted by CalHunter... in the Gerneral election???

you must bedillusional.
You sure did infer a lot into my LOL. Yes, I do think Obama can beat McCain. I also think McCain can beat Obama. The polls are tied and McCain has the momentum at the moment. Despite this, you say McCain doesn't have a chance. Either you're psychic, or it is you who is delusional.
i still dont understand stating polls as a valid Reference to how the General election will play out..
ill say again that its my very strong belief that the polls are worthless tools the media uses to tell the people what they are thinking is ok......if the Polls were lopsided...80% to 20% nobody would watch cable news...but instead they drag everything out and for some reason have a ton of people Mezmerized and baffled at the same time.

Mark it on your calander that Alpha says Obama wins the General electionby a landslide.

i cant look into the future...but that is my honest....unbiashypothesis of the election outcome.
based oneverything ive seen/heardthe last year and a half... popular vote will be close but McCain cant win in the elecoral's when it counts.

why i support obamba???? Why should i support that Joker John McCain?????
how anyone could vote McCain is the Question??? all you guys were talking about how horrible he was 3 months ago and how your all gonna hold your nose to vote just so obama cant win....

Palin's luster will fade and republicans will be way behind in a month and a half.

McCain is a one trick Pony
not something we need in the whitehouse....on top of that i seriously doubt his intelligence. ...what happens if he has a permanent senior moment???
One thing im excited about is that he understands the importance of education....i think he will do very good in that area as a president.

the rest will just have to wait and see....as long as he works hard and Try's i think he'll do better than Bush did....you have to admit thatalot of times,Bush didnt do much of either.

Alpha you got one thing right. The way that McCain ran his campaign makes me seriously doubt his intelligence.

Well it wasn't exactly easy with a huge lack of funds and the media in Obamas back pocket. I think he did respectably for the postition he was in.

It's funny how short people's minds are these days. You need to think again. Bush has done an excellent job when you consider what he was given. He walked into a recession and the tech bubble burst (over a trillion wiped off the books), we got attacked on 9/11 (over a trillion wiped off the books again). What most don't know, half of Bush's team still were not on the job because the Dems were blocking the hearings in the Senate. They were playing politics because of Florida. Since then, we haven't been attacked and have captured or killed over 3/4 of Al Qaeda leadership. We very close to a total win in Iraq. Notice how many middle east countries are no longer in the news anymore with ties to terrorism. Also did you notice the attack in Syria? They asked us to do it. Not bad for a country who in the news hates you.

Bush will be remembered well years down the road. I know you don't agee but your a feelings guy not a pure numbers guy. Your feeling don't allow you to look at reality and its a shame.

I wish Obama well but I don't expect he will deliver. He's not a leader, he's a follower. All Senators are. He's got 2 years beforethe Senate possibly changes hands. You will be able to gauge how he's doing by the midterm elections. Should the Dems loose control of the Senate or House then you know he's doing poorly.

FM you should be in the shipping business. Like all good captains you are willing to go down with the ship. I will give you this....you have been consistent. I hope George invites you and the other couple of fans he has (Laura and Cheney) for a BBQ at the ranch.

CI, I'm strictly a numbers guy. I don't get all emotional over this stuff and thats they way historians will look at this. No feelings envoled just raw data. The raw data shows that Bush did and excellent job given what he was delt.

Obama has a tough road to travel. He to will be taking over in an economic mess. Not the doing of GW but the doings of decades of bad policy. The problem is the party that is most to blame for this mess is now the party in power to clean it up. They are all too willing to go back to the only thing they know how to do and that is throw money at it. This won't solve anything but it will allow Obama to pull many Bill Clintons by standing up and saying, "I feel your pain" or "I tried to give you a tax cut but sorry, it couldn't be done. No body regrets it more than me".
