Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default McCain Had to Lose

I think that John McCain is basically a good and decent man but electing a candidate from the incumbent Republican party would have been an affront to justice. The Republican party needed to be punished for its eight years of misrule and the damage it has done to our country. Losing the presidency as well as the Congress is the only rebuke that would sufficiently accomplish this. No doubt there will be Republicans elected to the presidency in the future but to have done it in 2008 would have been a travesty after the Bush years.

your balmeing a party for the mistakes of one man? and they are not punishing the party, they are punishing us, besides, the Republican Party did not put Bush into office, American citizens did, so your arguement, in my poinion, is nulled

McCain was fatally flawed. McCain sponsored a draconian "gunshow loophole" bill along with Lieberman. He sponsored the stinky illegal amnesty bill along with Kennedy. Lots of folks never forgave him for those little boo boos.Theright wing talk show nutcases trashed McCain and that hurt him badly.

I don't think he had to lose. He wasn't a cure but he was a bandage. Obama is another wound waiting to happen (a hatchet wound). Why you think the country has to suffer now is beyond me. Is your life so much worse than it was 8 years ago? If so, how much of it is your own fault? Just because George W. Bush didn't put you in charge of a fortune 500 company doesn't mean he's a bad man. If I remember correctly there were about 5 or 6 years during his presidency that the stock market was supposed to crash (and if incorrectly, that's cool too). Everyone kept saying it was going to crash. In retrospect, it should have crashed and maybe the mess would have been smaller than what it is.

John McCain is a good man and a far better one than Barry.

Why is it such a good thing that people in other countries celebrate Barack Obama being the president-elect? They're expecting a hand out now, too, and they're glad they have such a hatchet wound to deal with that is as naive as he is if they want to screw with the US.

Good job! If McCain had to lose for what has happened in the Bush years what goes arund comes around. Just wait until this crap gets started. if you're going to spread thorns don't go barefoot.

Ignorance isn't bliss for the rest of us.

It was an uphill run, and Mac was making progress but the economic collapse just nailed the coffin shut. The GOP did not coalesce around a candidate and Mac ran up the middle with players down on the field. We may not see his type of primary results again for awhile.

Just wait. BO won't have the money to keep his campaign promises and he is taking on big trouble. We'll be back.
