It feels to me like the Russia of today is more erratic and possibly dangerous then the former Soviet Union and what makes it worse is that, imo, they seem itching to become the principal player on a world stage again. This will be a big test. Perhaps the one Biden mentioned[&:]

Yep I agree, but this isn't a result of the Obamaelection or even the Bush presidency, this has been brewing for some time now and not much could be done about it.Russia wants back in the game and the return of the USSR along with Soviet block nations, pure and simple.

The russians are nut jobs anyway.....that is why they scare me a little....but when Poland heard the election results, I bet everyone at the same time screamed...'SON OF A....'

I have been warning people against this all day, and just heard about it now! Russia wont do more then 'deploy its troops' near opur allies until Obama is sitting behind the desk in the oval office for the first time

Well it's not surprising but really who will be the first to leap and when will it happen?

a) Russia against one of it's border states?

b) China on Taiwan?

c) Iran on Isreal
