His handling of the Iraq War was terrible, a good book to read is "Baghdad at Sunrise: A Brigade Commander's War in Iraq"
Bush arrogance cost 4000+ their lives.

Bush is suppose to be a conservative, well he had exactly 1 veto in 8 years. He spent way to much and grew the Goverment while in office.

Lets not forget Katrina

Don't blame this on Bush, The people of the Blue states were ready for socialism and there are a lot more of them than there is of us. I look at the Blue/Red map and I know i belong in a red state.

It is not like Bush had a mandate to doany damn thing. He won his first term by a 5 to4vote in the US Supreme Court. The 2004 election was a squeaker too.Republicans in congress blindly followed Pied Piper Bush right off the cliff. They packed nearly every spending bill with an unprecedented amount of pork and Bush signed off on it.

At the same time that the Republicans in congress were expressing their love and support for the troops the perps were attempting to cut veterans benefits. They did succeed in cutting funding for military brain injury research. That money was restored by the Democrat congress.

Bush pushed forand got theMedicare drug benefit. He pushed for and got the sorry No Child Left Behind law. Bushpushed for and nearly got the pukey illegal alien amnesty thing. By sponsoring and voting for amnesty for illegal aliens McCain sealed his fate. Lots of Republicans stayed away from the polls yesterday because of that one thing.

Then there was the invasion of Iraq.
