Default I now accept the Koolaid

Someone ,besides you liberal sickos, tell me how this country can ever recover from this? Can we even call this America anymore? Even if we come to our senses in 4 years, the damage is done forever!

The fact is, this country has become a cult and ceased being a nation tonight, and there is no other nation, on earth, to run to.

So my question is, where is the 55 gal drum of jim jones koolaid this country has been drinking from? I might as well accept the end too.

I'd like to say your post is humorus, but its not. What the hell is this, American Idol? The guy has done nothing as an Illinois senator, his claim to fame is being on the cover of Vanity Fair and nothing else.

This has been my beef with him from day one....He has done NOTHING for Illinois sowhat makes me think he will do anything for the country? Not to mention I'm against most of his (and his parties) basic ideals and way of thinking.

I will say one thing, I can't wait to find out just what the hell his plans are now...Throughout the campaign he kept saying he's had a plan to fix all the problems that this country faces at this time from the economy, to health care, energy problems, social problems etc...but he's never once actually spelled out (in detail) what they were. I guess now we'll know.....This should be fun.

If you call puking fun, I am serious I have been holding down all night, I don't feel good. I can't feel good about this. I will not however be drinking the kool-aid, nor will I bend over and take it. I will go through about a week of depression and then bounce back, I still stand for my morals, the change coming is not something I am looking forward to. The HOPE, this pilaging and raping of our constitution only lasts 4 years. I saypretend that you will drinkit to find out where it is thendump the drum of Kool-aid so these guys have 4 years to sober up.

He was the head of the Harvard Law Review. If you held yourself to the same expectations you technically don't have the qualifications to talk abou thtis subject. Pathetic overreaction. Continued use of scare tactitcs.

+1

I love this stat:

John McCain spent more time as a POW then Obama served as a Senetor.

B&C,

It's not a scare tactic, it's my opinion on the matter. I have every right to talk about this subject because I live in Illinois and have seen first hand his lack of anything substantial done for my state. I don't need to hold my self to the same expectations because I didn't run for president. So he was the head of the Harvard Law Review??? That did NOTHING for Illinois did it? All I'm saying is it's time to see exactly what his plans are....in detail.

The only silver lining here is that the Republicans have only one way to go from here, and it ain't further down. It was no surprise that McCain lost. He was a weak choice and it was going to be a year for Gays, Illegals and liberals. The only suprise to me is that osama beat out the rest of the Dems, all of who were much more qualified that he was. It looks bad for the future of women in high office when a nobody can take out the big clinton machine and a woman who was much more prepared to be president than osama. I never thought I would see the day when a first black candidate could take out the first strong woman candidate. Maybe billary just had to much bagage.

To top it off, McCain was a poster boy for the old boy machine that the younger voters rebeled against. The Republicans can thatk their lucky stars that they came out of this as well as they did. They will still be a force to be recond with in the Senate partly because many of the Dems that have made it into the senate are of the conservative brand for the most part or at least from conservative districs.

Hilary's campaign underestimated Obama until it was too late. His campaign was much better run thanher's or McCain's.
