Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default One thing I'm learning...

Well, the past couple of weeks with the polls predicting an Obama win I began to wonder what kind of reactions I'd see on this site. And, with the election becoming more and more of sure thing for Obama I've got to admit some of you guys are topping what even I expected. I'm reading of people running to Mexico, slitting their wrists and blasphemies that are absolutely ridiculous (Rev Wright in the cabinet, come on people!?)

I was hoping for maturity and patriotism from the hunting community here; a realization that regardless of who wins we're still all Americans and should rally behind whoever sits in office. Atleast I know that was my plan if McCain won the race. I guess I put too much faith in people to be American rather than Republican or Democrat Oh well though, keep the whining, bitc***g and moaning posts coming, if it makes you feel better, more power to you I guess I just expected more

Were not bitter, we now have a new one in office to make fun of. George got enough bashing, He's not exculded, there's plenty to make fun of with him. In fact he's the best making fun of president since Jimmy Carter.
SNL is going to have a blast with him for years to come. Oh, I just can't wait to the fun to start. Hey, you have to look on the bright side. If he's going to tear this country to pieces we can at least have fun getting there.

I was hoping for more patriotism from a guy running as our leader

I put to much faith in Obama that he would see the light and at least look at the flag, to atleastpretend to care for what it stands for...

I hope you enjoy paying foryour lazy piece of $hit neighbour'shealthcare. And having the price and process of gun ownership sky rocket. Go ahead and celebrate your "victory". And I hope you can sleep knowing the man you elected hates theflag, the one that thousands have served anddied to protect.

I have a prediction... bashing Bush, justified throughout history, bashing Obama ... racism.

One thing you will never understand. No anti gun politician is going to gain any favor on a hunting site. We don't like to have the fox guarding the hen house. Thats pretty much a no brainer.

So you wanted us to show as much respect for Obama as you did bush.
That will be easy,
respect level: none

I guess you're right James. I was always raised that regardless of race, opinion, religious affiliation, etc. we are more than anything all people and in this country all American. People fought and died so we would all have the right to our freedoms and opinions and I do fail to understand how people can not at least give understanding to someone who has an opinion that differs from their own

whoa whoa whoa. I have respect for Bush as a president because of the position he holds. I do, however, disagree with a myriad or decisions he made while in office. That being said, find a few posts where I disrespected Bush, I think you'll have trouble finding any at all
