I'm just curious as to other peoples views on this. I'll probably get flamed for this one, but remember this- I'm 18 and i'm no political expert. anyway to the point. I honestly believe the reason this election is so close is because Obama is black. no doubt, he ran a good campaign and spent millions in ads, but i believe if he was white he would have no chance of being elected. i'm not racist, don't get the wrong idea, this is just my observation. i think the main reason a lot of african americans are voting for him is to elect the first black president, though i can't really blame them. anyway, whatare yalls opinions on this?

I think that he couldn't have become a manager at McDonalds with the amount of experience he has. I know he couldn't get a "secret" (much less "top secret") clearance due to his close ties and associations with terrorists, anti-americans, and criminals. I know he's barely got a voting record, but what he does have garnered him the label of the most liberal in the Senate. I know he's been caught in one lie right after another.
Just what got him this far? Sure wasn't his credentials.

IMO, the American people don't care if he is black or not, we just need a leader that will get us out of this mess.
That is about stupid Look around. I know a lot of people that are going to vote for Obama because he is black. Because they think we need our first black president. Not because they think he is the best for the job. I don"™t know where you live but here in Nevada it is all about he is black.
I'll re-phrase the obvious--he couldn't be a manager at McDonalds if he'd worked there 140-something days, just like he was a U.S. senator for 140-something days before his POTUS bid.
He didn't even win the Dem nomination honestly--the "superdelegates" just gave Hillary a taste of her own medicine. The will of the people was ignored--at least the will of registered Dems.

no doubt it seriously pisses me off when people don't care about his issues but vote for him because hes black. the reason i say you can't blame them is because think of this if we'd had all black presidents and now there was a white candidate wouldn't a lot of whites vote for him for the same reason? just a thought
