Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Governor Palin Exonorated

From the NY Times--hardley a conservative stronghold.

"ANCHORAGE "” A report released on Monday by a state board found that Gov. Sarah Palindid not apply improper pressure to try to dismiss a state trooper who was her former brother-in-law and did not violate state ethics laws in the firing of her public safety commissioner."

The entire story is at http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/04/us/politics/04palin.html?_r=1&bl&ex=1225947600&en= 619f33f7ae064dcc&ei=5087%0A&oref=slogin

Reported in one of the most liberal papers in the U.S. Who woulda' thunk it? Did anyone hear about this from any of the national new media?

Yes, that politically motivated "investigation" did a lot of damage to Palin. The head of the AL state police serves at the pleasure of the governor. Palin had a right to fire the guy and did so.

Exactly as it was meant to. Guess that's the best those 30 or so investigators could come up with. The Republican party is going to have to learn to fight fire with fire--no telling how much dirt 30 investigators could have dug up on Biden and BHO.

You should give your party more credit. You all ruthlessly attacked Obama/Biden but nothing worked or stuck. People aren't falling for the same crap that worked in the past. Not sure how this thing will turn out tonight but please don'tcomewith thiswhole victim mentality that the Republican Party did not ATTEMPTto bring allegations (although many times fictitious or simply absurd) against the democratic ticket. You tried....but you still might lose.[&:]

And I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't ATTEMPT to imply I said things that I didn't.

Dems illegally got personal info. on Joe the plumber. A team of investigators sent to AK to ATTEMPT to dig up dirt on Governor Palin. Don't ATTEMPT to tell me the McCain ticket came close to this kind of garbage.

Buisness as usual for the Dems.

I thought a bunch of them should been tried for treason over the Gen. Petraus thing, including Hitlery.

No surprise to anyone timing and all, the only surprise is there was no investigation for Barry the slim ball.

The republicans couldnt dig into Obamas shady past and bring up all the left wingterroist types due to being called a racist. America has spoken and America will be so sorry they elected this man. People dont have a clue just how bad this is for Russia.....I mean America.

I knew it was little about nothing. She did no wrong, but nobody and I mean nobody I am in contact with at home, work or anywhere even mentioned it. This did not hurt McCain/palin. However, Palin as a VP pick didn't help his campaign and if anything she hurt him. I guarantee that in 2012 Demos hope she runs for president!
