Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Funniest thing all day

Heard an interview today that just made me laugh. It was an exit poll comment. A lady was quoted to say "It's a wonderful day, I never have to worrry about my mortgage or gas prices ever again."

I think that a lot of people are gonna be disillusioned when things dont magically become perfect the day after the inaguration.

Ah but there's where your wrong. The news media will immediately start covering for Obama if he wins. They won't go back and check the record, just like they did for Bill. Besides that, Obama has been on every side of every issue and has multiple comments out there on that. He's future proof.

I get your point. he will likely get credit for the lower gas prices even though that has already happened. He will also likely get credit for an orderly withdraw from Iraq although that is already in the works as well. Ditto for economic recovery which will probably be well underway by the time he is inagurated. He is gonna have to screw up pretty bad before the media admits the honeymoon is over.

What are the two big issues? The war(s) and the economy. I don't think the wars will be over any time soon and I don't think the ecomony has see the bottom. Obama's energy policy, if you can call it that, is going to hurt us big time. Stop coal, no offshore drilling, doesn't support nuclear..............just put up more wind mills and that will create millions of jobs!!!!!! OH YEA, and conserve....... tax everybody more for their carbon footprint. TAX, TAX, TAX!!!!!!! In 4years, people will be begging for Bush back. Well, maybe not, but he certainly won't be considered by many the worst president ever.
