I dont put any faith in any polls. If you went by the polls and exit polls back in 04 , Kerry was the winner. They were wrong in 00 and 04 so their record leaves alot to be desired.
Heard a fellow predict Saturday that Obama will win. Given that the guy predicting has only missed one prediction in the past 15 years (including state, local and national elections) I'm going to have to say I believe him

FYI, you guys need to blame yourselves for this. You empowered the most power hungry, corrupt, presidency in modern history. Torture, warrantelss wiretapping, the patriot act, Gitmo, Abu Grihab, New Orleans, Yellow Cake in Africa, Valerie Plame, deficit spending, cutting taxes in a time of war, and on, and on, and on. Maybe if the Republicans would have stood up and said, hey wait a second, this is still AMERICA, and we don't do those things, you would find yourself in the position you are going to find yourselves in tommorrow. As ye sow so shall ye reap.
I hope I do get what I deserve by voting for Obama. I deserve at least a CHANCE at getting a gov't that's worth a crap, and that's one thing I am absolutely positive McCain's NOT worth.

You sir, need to read the law. As they were written, they did not just apply to terrorists nor enemy combatants, they applied to YOU and to ME, and to every other U.S. citizen. As a matter of fact, about a month ago a report came out, the Justice Department was tapping the lines of AMERICAN SOLDIERS OVERSEAS! In fact, there was even a big joke when a lascivious call would come in, they would all rush over and listen in. We have lost more rights under this adminstration than any in history. Bush and Cheney wanted to "strengthen" the position of the executive branch, as noted in the People for the New American Century.
It is one of the reasons I became disgusted with my fellow gun owners. They ranted and raved about their gun rights, but sat there and supported the president while he basically decided that he had the power to order warrantless wiretapping of anyone the government deemed "suspicious". They can also go and without a warrant, check your library card and see what books you check out, they held a British citizen for YEARS without a trial. We have never ever been so close to facsim.
