That is very interesting because he did this gesture RIGHT when mentioning his opponent, and seemed to stumble on the words he says at the moment he's giving the finger, like he's concentrated on giving the finger and not on what he's trying to say, so kind of mumbles both times. Looks quite deliberate to me...
Who cares? Andrew Jackson, my favorite president, was involved in 13 duels, and probably used foul language from time to time.

Hardly could be considered on purpose especially when there are other clips that show up showing Obama rubbing his lips/face using the same finger. Many people, myself included, use their middle finger when rubbing their lips, pointing to something on a paper, etc.
