As bad as the taxes are, I would rather pay a lot more money in taxes in order to free my kids and grand kids form this crushing 11 trillion in red ink that was run up by the last four so called "presidents."
For what it's worth, Presidents "propose" a budget, but, it's Congress that actually passes the budget and spends the money. Without a line item veto, the President either signs whatever Congress passes (which probably bears little semblence to what the President proposed), or shuts down the government.
