Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default My new McCain Sign

I finally got a sign and put it in my yard. I now look like and independent who waited til the last moment to make up my mind and move towards McCain.

Update, I got probably my one and only trick-r-treater tonight, my neighbor down the street. She said she loves my sign and just put a bumper sticker on her car this week.

We've had over 100 trick or treaters and go for a little more than 30 minutes, until 8pm. As far as political signs, I never allow them in my yard.

Why is that? Afraid to piss the wrong one off?

I won't put up in my yard either. They look tacky IMO. Our township will pull the ones that are on township property and throw them away. I agree with this because once the election is over they just sit there and blow away and become litter.

Those that know me would say I'm the last person to worry about pissing someone off. I've never got into the whole political sign thingy. The only sign I would consider if I could have found one is the "IM The NRA, And I Vote" sign.I guess that would be the give a way to who I'm voting for.

i will put s sign up in my yard if i personally know a candidate and can vouch for him or her. i view it as a public endorsement, and has a higher threshold than casting a vote for a candidate

thus i do not have an obama sign in my yard (despite what will be my vote for him) but i do have sign up for my congressman. since the latter is an R, and my partisan predilictions are widely known locally, it's caused a bit of a stir.

I have a few Obama signs in my garage. One just showed up on the lawn one day, and the others I got from my down-the-street neighbors house. He's been away for over a month and I look after his place. They make great bb gun targets for my kids.
