Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I feel like being silly and partisan. Slots wasn't good enough for Earlich, now they are for Malley?

Everyone has to admit, malley hasn't messed with hunting/fishing at all like paris did.

For decades four southern MD counties has legal gambling. Folks came from over a dozen states on a regular basis to gamble in MD. Property taxes in those counties were non-existent to very low.

Then along came Gov. Spiro Agnerw who was incensed that the system washonestand he couldn't get his fingers in the money pot. Agnew pushed a bill, through the legislature and the slots were gone.

I'm voting for them. Slots aren't my preferred form of gambling, since the returns on slots are lower than table games, but I'd rather Marylanders waste their coins here than in WV. Besides, if it helps the horse industry, that's another bonus.

I think I will vote for it, If people want to pay more in taxes voluntarily thats fine by me...

My only reason for not voting for it would be how I would feel if they wanted to put them just down the street from my house. I figure that I sure dont want them two blocks from my house, so why should I let them put it near someone elses???

No tellin. He generally does not take up state issues like this. He's in entirely different league than simple state goverment.
