Can someone give me a good reason to not vote for Chuck Baldwin?
I dont honestly think I can hold my nose long enough to vote for either of the big 2....which I think represent nearly identical views with a couple of token differences. To me theres not enough difference in either of the parties now to even justify having 2 parties as they stand so close.
So Im going 3rd party.....which the Constitutional Party fits my views anyways. Anyone else voting this way?
RE: Can someone give me a good reason to not vote for Chuck Baldwin?
I can understand why someone would be completely dissatisfied with both of the major party candidates. But one would have to be dangerously obtuse not to see that there are huge differences between them.

They are nowhere alike. Obama is not for the 2nd Amendment and McCain is that is all I need to vote for McCain. Because Money can come and go but my rights I will fight for.
RE: Can someone give me a good reason to not vote for Chuck Baldwin?
Well you can call me what you want and disagree but the fact remains what is said in this piece on his website is dead-nuts on...
Albert Einstein is credited with saying that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result. For years now, Republicans and Democrats have been leading the country in the same basic direction: toward bigger and bigger government; more and more socialism, globalism, corporatism, and foreign interventionism; and the dismantling of constitutional liberties. Yet, voters continue to think that they are voting for "change" when they vote for a Republican or Democrat. This is truly insane!
RE: Can someone give me a good reason to not vote for Chuck Baldwin?
So calling me obtuse may possibly distract your attention from your own nearsightedness...but hey ...whatever works for you!
The differences you call huge are merely small distractions...these 2 parties are extremely simillar. How is this possible you ask? Easy! The very same lobbying groups are putting money into both parties. What should this tell us? 1.They are lobbying both parties to the same cause. 2. Anytime you want to know the reason for why a certain thing is happening in washington...or anywhere else for that matter...follow the MONEY!
Perhaps I can sum it up a little easier...lets start from the beginning...
Media and corporations arose, and nothing in the constitution put a check on their power! The major political parties, supported by the same corporate system as the media, promote a similar agenda. As corporate power has grown, the parties have supported more corporate power. As the range of debate narrowed, the parties became more alike. They get more alike with each election. It becomes harder to create a political identity, so voters are alienated and refuse to vote, or vote with minimal enthusiasm, unless they are from the corporate middle ruling class, in which case they win no matter what happens at the polls. They become happy and cynical at the same time. The media push more entertainment and consumer toys in an effort to dull our realization of the growing banality of our culture and our politics. New ideas are marginalized, and we see violence and hatred and terrorism, mixed with apathy and disgust. All efforts to change are blocked by money, power and inertia. The result? Our "democracy" is a sham.
Ok...that was a mouthful but I think I got my point across...
RE: Can someone give me a good reason to not vote for Chuck Baldwin?
You know I can see where you are coming from. I am for McCain just because I don"™t trust Obama when it come to my guns. But what I think we need in a candidate is someone like Theodore Roosevelt.
RE: Can someone give me a good reason to not vote for Chuck Baldwin?
You know people call me what you like after this, but after looking over Chuck Baldwin on the issues I think he wouldbe the best one for president. You may be on to something here, but I no he will never win so I will still vote for McCain because I just don"™t like Obama.
RE: Can someone give me a good reason to not vote for Chuck Baldwin?
Any vote not for McCain is just as good as a vote for osama. Even if a independent could get in this time, he would have nobody but Dems and Reps to work with. Someday it might happen but it would take an incredibly strong candidate to whip both parties then get them to work with him and against their party. They have proven time and time again that they don't listen to the people. Sad but true.I am voting for Palin.
RE: Can someone give me a good reason to not vote for Chuck Baldwin?
Perot voters put Clinton in the Whitehouse, but they had principals.........
