Florida lets felons vote if their civil rights have been restored; most other states are less restrictive.

Maine and Vermont let felons vote from prison.

In 13 states and Washington, D.C., felons can vote when they are on probation or parole.

Five states allow felons on probation to vote.

Twenty states allow felons to vote once they've completed their sentences.

Florida and seven other states (Alabama, Arizona, Delaware, Mississippi, Nevada, Tennessee, Wyoming) let some people with felony convictions vote.
