Thith is so wrong I can't even comprehend it. I would be at the lawyers office this morning suing their ass over that had my kid been involved.

Why you would have yourself to blame you have to give permission to let your kid go on a field trip, who you going to sue yourself??

If there was a permission slip involved did it describe what the event was ? I doubt it. Why do kids have to get this crap rammed down their throats?

If there was a permission slip,come on the way schools work, you're not that ignorant...............................are you?Yupthe parents haveno idea where the kids are going when they will be leaving or returning. That wouldn't leave a shool open to litigation now would it. My kid got killed on a bus trip I didn't know they wrere going on what do you think would happen in today's sue happy society?

My question about this is not whether the parents knew where their kids were going, im sure it was on the permission slip, but rather why? It all comes at a time when California is really pushing gay marriage. Appears to be indocrination to me. If not, it would be common practice for teachers getting married to have their classes take a field trip to their respective marriages. Another question I have is, was this a good use of tax payers dollars?
