Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Polls and lawn signs

Well if ya follow the polls, it would seem that obama is getting ready to pimp slap(im sure Ill get slammed by the "race" police for that) McCain on election day. However ,I cant help but notice about 10 McCain lawn signs for every obama sign as I drive around southern NYS these days , what gives? I mean this aint exactly a ''red state". No, I dont think McCain is gonna upset NY but if there is this many McCain supporters here, can obama really win CO an NC?

Here in MN if you are in the country you will probably see more McCain than Obama and in the city you are more likely to see an Obama sign. But even more do not put up any signs. My neighbors put up signs on the local level but never the national but I know they are voting McCain. I took one of their stupid polls the other day, you know the one where they ask if you are liberal somewhat lib, conservative or somewhat conservative. One of the other questions I was asked was if knowing Michelle Bachman voted against the bailout wouldit make me more likely to vote for her? Just so you know I said yes. I can't remember exactly how she put it butwent something likewhy should MN's who were responsible when aquiring homeloans andresponsibly paying for them pay for those who don't.

The polls don't say much to me, they are supposed to be there for the guy who is curious as to how things are going, I will vote no matter what the polls say because I feel it is my responsibilty as a citizen of this free country to do so. Not voting is like pissing on a soldier, why did he just work his tail off for you to in a nutshell give your freedom away. The polls do not scare me.

For what it's worth, I think there are at least 5 Obama signs for every McCain sign here.

Saw a lot of "I'm Voting for the Chick" signs this past weekend here in VA, rather degrading way to show one's support for a candidate IMO

Here in NW Florida Hussein is packing the TV commercials in. It seems that there is one or two every hour.

Signs on lawns don't mean a heck of a lot. The people who are big on politics will put them up be they on the right or the left. The people in the middle who are the ones who decide elections generally won't put any signs up. I saw a poll yesterday where Obama has a 13 point lead with independents. Even if this poll is exagerated by as much as 5-7 points in Obama's favor for any reason it still will spell curtains for McCain. These are the people he needs to win the election and if he doesn't have them, he will lose.

See a lot of McCain signs here in OK: McCain will win OK, that is a given.Let's face it, McCain is floundering and is trying to play catch up.IMO McCain was wounded, perhaps fatally, when Limbaugh, Coulter and otherfar out pundits attacked him during the primary.

We'll see if this debate changes anything, whether if it's a 2004 AFC Championship Game or a no-show, God wins the election.
