Default Howard Stern via Neal Boortz today

Today on Neal Boortz he replayed interviews that Howard Stern did on the streets of Harlem in regards to the up coming election. He used Obama's name but asked about McCain's views with the local IP's. How funny it was to hear these folks in agreement. He asked are you voting for Obama because you want to stay and finish the job in Iraq or do you think we should pull them out right away like McCain? Answer "no we should keep the troops in Iraq until the job is done, pulling troops out now would be wrong. They were asked about Obama's great choice of picking Sara for his VP. Asked if she was the right choice. Answer, "She was an excellent choice, Obama did make the choice". There were others that just had me rolling.

Kinda confirms my suspicions about a lot of Obama's support base. There's another current thread called "Captain Obvious". A thread about Obama's supporters might properly be designated "Captain Oblivious"...

Well you've got others somewhere in middle America thinking that Obama is an Arab, and that Sarah Palin is highly qualified to be a president, so it kind of goes both ways. Americans just think they are smart, but in reality they are not.

I don't listen to Stern (anymore). I would guess he is openly supporting Obama, as he did John Kerry. Is that true?

Sarah Palin is highly qualified to be a president,
What do you expect when she has more leadership experience then the Dem ticket combined.[:-]

That's BS and you know it. We know that Obama doesn't have much experience in anything worthwhile, but Biden surely has a good bit. Yeah sure, he wasn't a governor or mayor like Palin, but he has a great deal MORE political experience than several Obama's and Palin's put together. He even has more experience than McCain. Nowhere is it written that one must be a mayor or governor to qualify for the presidency.

Why is it BS? Being accountable for 20,000+ state employees isn't something different from Bidden's experience and Obama's experience? How many employees has Bidden been accountable for? I won't rattle off all the other activities of a governor, but basically Mike Huckabee said it best. When you are a US Senator you do nothing in stand alone mode and you get to spend a considerable amount of time deliberating. Remember the Bailout. How long did they have to act and whose name is tacked up on the barn to shoot at when it fails? Now, let's look at Hurricane Katrina. Who was the Lousianna governor who delayed too long calling in FEMA and who was the mismanaging New Orleans mayor? How much time did they have to make the right call and are their hides out for all to shoot at? Yes. I don't know how long the governor of Louisianna delayed, but among those who aren't obsessed with turning all unfortunate events to George Bush's credit, she gets a lot of blame for the untimely response to Hurricane Katrian. How long did she dither, maybe three days? How long did the congress have to deliberate and dither before they produced their bailout. Governors have to make command, executive decisions every day. Palin has done that. To pretend that is not relevant or that because Palin doesn't talk like someone from the east coast she is ignorant is just left wing propaganda.

You know there aren't many people challenging Bidden's experience. He isn't mocked on Saturday Night Live. He isn't challenged in the main stream media. Palin is, and in a most shameful way ("The only thing Sarah Palin has in common with Hillary Clinton is a vagina." I thought maybe Palin and Clinton had other things in common, like a church going habit and respect for religious faith, oh but that was only when Hillary Clinton was pretending to be a middle of the road, normal American during the primaries, my mistake!). The fact is that Palin has serious and applicable experience. It is just that the left wing propagandists are too friggin biased and threatened to be truthful and frank about this.

I think that experience is important. But just as important areactual verifiable accomplishments, no matter which side of the aisle you are on.
