Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default it's the first

frosty morning of october. i can smell yesterday's cut grass as the sun sneaks a look over the trees. it gives perspective.

the market failure will pass, as did the one of 29 and 1873, and we'll be a stronger nation as a result.

i'm frying ham for the grits and red-eye gravy. who wants some?

this one is different, and while you cannot let the weight of the world destroy the little things in life realize this is world changing, what is going on right now

Yum, yum. Got to mow some grass and then fry up some eggs and wild hog sausage.

You are correct, this crisis will pass. i just hope that the DC political hacks learned something from it.

Well it is already winter here. We had snow last night and it is cold today. This will pass, but will we be stronger? ***an never really recovered from their last economic crisis. Will we?

I hope so, but we need to put some restrictions in place. Freddie and Fannie need to be chopped up and regionalized, and if the Dems are guilty of anything, that is it. We have anti-trust laws on the books, and having two corporations holding over 5 Trillion dollars worth of mortgages is just plain wrong.

Hopefully, they will re-institute the laws that Phil Gramm did away with, and Clinton signed. Clear lines between investment banking, mortgage lending, and insurance need to be put back into place. No more of this overlap.

Also, it would be nice to see some of the legislation proposed to get some strong pro labor unions back in place. We need real wage growth to ensure that we never again become a nation of credit mongers.

A repeal of NAFTA would be great, or at least some serious changes. NO more allowing corporations to move across the border to hire cheap labor.

A good stance on immigration would be great. Mexico has been dying for a revolution since Pancho Villa fought the Haciendo owners. Shut the pressure valve of illegal immigration and Mexico has no choice but to revolt. Mexico will never be a solvent country until the oligarchy that rules is replaced with a true democracy of the people. NO workers passes, nada. Time for Mexico to clean its own act up so the people can prosper.
