Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Troopergate investigation says Palin abused power

Well, the verdict is in and the report says that Palin abused her power. Although it also goes on to say that she was justified in dismissing Monegan. From what I understand she is in violation of a state ethics law because she knew that her husband was trying to influence people into firing the trooper. But some are arguing that the report contradicts itself because there is documented testimony that Palin did, in fact, tell her husband to stop getting involved.

In summary they do not request any punishment against Palin. Although that could come at the decision of the Alaskan legislators.

I agree 100 percent. However the people of Alaska will have to determine the outcome. It's their call and I know a lot of politics entered into the findings. She has a 80 percent favorable rating in Her home state and time will tell if this will affect that. I don't think it will amount to much. osama has done much worse and his people still call him the savior.

The maximum they're able to do is give Palin a $5,000 fine, so I don't really think they're in trouble.

The former movers and shakers in AK are perturbed at Palin for sinking their corruption laden boat.
