Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I never thought someone could get so fat on mexican food. I thought it was only in America that someone could be living below the poverty level and collecting welfare, yet still weigh 400lbs or more!

There's one that didn't sneak in... He'd a died a lot faster here with all the fast food restaurants..

I can just see him now trying to cross the river with all that fat covering up his face, it would have been an ugly sight.[:@]

I don't know about that. Too much of anything is probably not healthy but in general I would bet the typical American type fast foods will put a hell of a lot more weight on you than Mexican food. The guy in this story is probably an oddity in a country like Mexico, while we have plenty of tugboat sized people in this country. I see them waddling in and out of my local McDonald's everyday.

It is extremely expensive to eat a healthy diet, especially if you don't have a garden, hunt, and a freezer or canner.

This comes as no surprise and surely not by accident that this country is so fat. Simply stated, this nation is fat and unhealthy for a couple of reasons: population control, and to keep Big Pharma and the corrupt medical industry raking in trillions. (Yeah, I'm lumping in Mexico into that statement for they are no better.)

I like this:
Quote:
At his funeral, family members slammed state officials for not moving Garza to a hospital in Mexico before he became critically ill.
Of course it wasn't his fault, right? In a way, it wasn't (in a small way).

At least his legacy will live on through a place in the Guinness Book of Records.

I don't know about the hunters, freezers or canners either. I see plenty of hunters each year wearing those XXXL garments and getting all out of breath just by getting in and out of their SUV's. Then they need to sit on an ATV and have it strain to haul their lard to a stand a mere 150 yards from the road!

We don't get alot of obesity in Scotland, thank the Lord. As for that guy. He brought it all on himself. I would never let myself get to that state. [:'(]
