Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default McCain wants to bail out homeowners

I excuse Obama because he is demented in his socialist views and of course wants to bail out people who didn't pay their bills. But McCain knows better than to bail out peoplewho made bad decisions, particularly in such a way as to REWARD those decisions with free mortgage payments on taxpayer expense. Furthermore, until housing prices fall to their real intrinsic values, we will continue to have the same problems. Consider that the fed cut today just makes money cheap again, whichcontributed heavily tooverstated mortgage values.

Once again, we'll be forced to hold our noses and make our choices.

I popped a blood vessel last night when he said that. I yelled out at the dinner table, "I will be the paying for it".

We got two freakin nimrods running. One don't have a clue, and the other knows better.

Doug, we live in the same area. I am sure you know folks that have bought too much house who makes too little. I know guys who pull in 60K a year if they are lucky buying 350K houses. Thats crazy. Now I have to bail them out.

Great minds think alike. That's exactly what happened in my home.

He's no different than Obama and Biden in this respect. He's willing to give away anything to get elected.

A bunch of prostitutes.

McCain is a Knucklehead. For a guy that said he went to Washington 2 weeks ago to work on the plan he is clueless.

This is already part of the plan. McCain has no plan to help. Just cut taxes for the Wall Street guys and move health care away from your employer and make you do it on your own.

I am 100% responsible for buyingthe health care for my company. We have a great buying power that probably saves us 25-35% on the cost of coverage. McCain wants your employer to stop providing you with coverage and he is going to give you a $5,000 credit to go out and get your own. On you own, I guarantee you that decent family coverage will cost you over $12,000 per year. Guess who is getting the shaft with this plan. McCain is preserving the doctors, hospitals and drug companies rights to charge you what they will. Ouch!!!!!!

I say he wants your employer to stop giving you coverage and there is endless data available to support that. Understand, if your employer now has to tax you on that benefit that will also raise your employers payroll taxes. The employers will be faced with nothing but to drop the coverage. Keeping you covered will cost the employer and extra 10% in payroll taxes.

Makes no sense, but this is a plan to stop you from getting coverage from your employer. Am I missing something???

I wouldn't go that far, but I was disappointed. At this point, I think he's just trying to get elected. I don't think he thinks it's the right thing to do, just what the masses want to hear. The Idiocracy is in full swing.

I am not suprised that he is not going after the providers since his Campaign Advisor Wayne Berman is a lobbyist for the health Insurance Industry.
