Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Retirement Accounts Lose 2 trillion

An analyst says that retirement accounts have lost two trillion dollars. Hope that those pukes in congress are proud of the fact that their screwing with the banking/mortgage system allowed toxic paper to be sold all over the world.

After viewing my last statement I couldn't agree more.

And it will cost us 850 billion and we are still losing.

You know what amazes me is, why did McCain vote yes? This was a perfect opportunity for him to show his stance on pork barrel spending. I realize he needs the base to support him. but I think he could have did both.

+1
If McCainhad voted against the bailout he would have set himself apart from the Democrats and the Republicans who voted for the bill and claimed the high ground. McCain could have really gone after Obama for voting for all that pork.

True, but then bama would say, look he doesn't care about the economy and the advise of his own president and all the economist.

I don't fault him that bad for his vote. But I would have liked to see how it played out if he voted no.

I'm not sure how you guys so much about McCain and the economy if I call correctly, and I'm positive I do, he said last week that if we talk about the economy he'll lose the race. Now let me tell you what, that's what Americans want to hear![&:]

Well, don't worry, the economy doesn't affect you any. You haven't even contributed to the economy. Maybe you can go ask your mommy how she feels.

You are out of control. Grow up man, seriously.

Bigcountry responds: Grow up! I'm older than you and I do more because I've got a job right now and I know you said you had one too and have the same one waiting when you get out of school but that doesn't matter because I can't see past the nose on my face. You're young and immature because maturity is only a function of age! You don't contribute to the economy, and though you've provided me with examples of how you do, I still just choose to ignore it!
So what I'm going to do is result to insults and being asinine because it helps me sleep better at night. I'm old and wise (in my opinion of course) so I have the righ to be an ageist! Oh yeah wahoo, you lie too, and I don't know about what or can't provide any examples but you do. (bigcountry feels much better about himself yet has still not provided any examples of what he is talking about)

So how does raising taxes on small and big business help the economy?

Listen, I'm pretty sure everyone on here is going to be holding their nose for McCain, he's not anyones first choice. But, with that said, he'll do a lot LESS damage then Obama.
