Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

You guys crack me up, Obama doesn't want to ban guns, he just wants to make it harder for some idiot redneck to be able to buy a .50 cal sniper rifle or assualt rifle and i agree with him. Unless all you guys are a lot richer than I, I would rather Obama win than McCain. And he won't ban drilling for oil, he just doesn't think that is the solution when we have the technology for solar and wind and other things.

don't matter who wins... they both are politicians...They LIE!!They will say what it takes to get elected... either one will be walking into a s**thole of an economy and will have alot..ALOT of work cut out for them..... and like all presidents before them..the people will be as a tumbleweed in the wind..when things are good they are liked..when things are bad..well they will be hated... As to the guns.. I say every right lost.. is one step closer to to a gun ban.. it wont effect the criminals..just law abiding people like us, so its kinda pointless really and a waste of time. why is there so much about those 2 anyway? neither one is going to do anything without congress... we can blame the pres for everything as always but congress is who i look at and say WTF. this whole election is a joke..the parties selected people as a show.. why was Obama and Hillary the 2 picks for nomination? why is Obama in the running? why is Palin chosen for rep. VP?? its a showboat from both parties.. sure..I'm sure they are all very talented smart people..or they would not have achieved what they have in life.. but really.. 4 more years of the same.. Not likely to happen if McCain wins. Just as Obama isn't going to be somekind of big government control freak.. its all media BS IMHO.. and the 2 parties should spend far less time with the propaganda against each other and stay focused on issues and do the impossible and work together toward a solution.. wow ..wouldnt that be a Change!
Now that i ranted ..I'll say its unfortunate that these two are the only choices we have...cause if either of them is the answer..it must be a dumb question
....
So any luck in the woods? I've been seeing alot of Does.. only one buck..and it was on my way to work lol

I agree with Tristatehunter completely. What gets me is when comes down to the wire on debating watch what happens with abortion issue an gun issue. Relegion and politics don't mix and this is the biggest vote grabber if I ever seen one. You'll never see a major gun ban the way I see it, because if you do you'll have a revolt on your hands. There's too many gun owners in this country to do something like that and this goverment knows that.
When was the last time anything was completely banned on abortion, there isn't. Bush, Pro-Life give me a break he wanted votes and he knew how to get them. But this is my thoughts which to some doesn't mean nothing.
Opinions are like, oh well you know what I mean. Heyyyyyyyyy this is a hunting forum, let's get to "huntin". Good Luck to all you DEER Slayers...........

It does matter who wins!!! Unfortunately it looks like obama will pull it off. You will have a landslide for McCain on this forum, because the biggest part of hunters are Republicans.(including myself) However, I'm afraid the bleeding liberal Obama is going to win. We can only hope McCain pulls off an upset. We need to all remember to get out and vote!!!

I'm pretty sure Obama wants to eat babies too, so I'm voting for him.

I almost hit a deer on my bike this morning.

Those of you who think Obama doesn't want to ban guns must not be from Illinois. He's been trying to do it in Chicago with the rest of the crook politiciansfor a while. It's just aboout down to where we can't have ANY firearms in the City. He's one of them that is leading the pack to ban guns around here. He tells you assault rifles and things like that are the only thing he wants to ban. I call that a stepping stone to everything else. Just wait. We've been fighting for out 2nd ammendment in Chicago and some neighboring communities for a while and I'll tell you that Obama is far from on gun owners side.
