I've been on a kick against the news media for a while now, but this takes the cake. I know the GOP has a history of crying foul against the press, but never before (in my lifetime, anyway) has the mainstream media been so obviously in the tank for one political candidate or the other. But out of everything I've read so far this election season, this takes the cake by far.

We have the AP saying that Sarah Palin is making racist remarks about Obama. Who in the hell does the writer think he's fooling? Sadly, he's probably fooling a whole lot of people, since the American people largely seem to believe only what the news media tells them. Can someone tell me what is racist about saying that Obama is "palling around" with a terrorist?!?

This is outrageous. If McCain finds a way to pull out a win, the news media in this country will have been rendered completely irrelevant. And not a moment too soon. The American news media has reached a level of shame and disgust that I never thought I would see them reach.
