Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default If Biden had to....

If Biden had to succeed Obama and become President:

Of course, then if Palin had to succeed McCain then we'd have what amounts to a cheerleader running the country who showed last night that even she doesn't agree with everything McCain says (see 16 month war exit plan)

Didn't Biden say Obama is not ready to be President? Talk about contradiction of VP and President.

Do you know when he said that and the context in which he said that? Because, if you do, you'll understand that you're statement holds no merit

Palin wants to drill ANWR, McCain doesn't - talk about a contradiction. McCain is right by the way, drilling ANWR is stupid and wouldn't change the price at the pump, it would only stuff the coffers of big oil and damage a "pristine" area as McCain correctly noted.

As far as ANWR is concerned, I don"™t want to drill in the Grand Canyon, and I don"™t want to drill in the Everglades. This is one of the most pristine and beautiful parts of the world.(Senator John McCain)

I think the conclusion you just drew is what is called a fallacy.

Biden said that at that current time Obama was not ready to be president, which many would agree, he wasn't. In subsequent talks (before be selected VP) he went on to talk of Obama's rapid maturation and how he was quickly becoming ready faster than he had expected. Then, again before be selected VP, he said Obama was ready to be president

PS oldelkhunter.... you're signature there, don't most human beings only use half their brain?

Correct. Many analysts found that there were several strong contradictions between what Palin said and what McCain has said leading to doubt amongst the well-informed republicans about the direction this country would go IF she did have to take over. Skepticism in its purest form I believe?
