Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default K-5 ?

Do you all feel that the Keating scandal brings ashadow of doubt to McCain's credibility when speaking of our nation's financial crisis? I didn't know much about this until the news link was e-mailed to me by my cousin. He's anObama man, and I'm a McCain supporter. Maybe some of you have spoke of it before, but I couldn't find the topic on HNI's search. Just wanted to hear some of your takes on the scandal.

You've come to the wrong place if you think the many republicans here will actually take one of their own to task on anything. On the other hand they are ready to string up any democrat for a much smaller infraction.

The Senate Ethics Committee Report said that McCain's "actions were not improper nor attended with gross negligence and did not reach the level of requiring institutional action against him....Senator McCain has violated no law of the United States or specific Rule of the United States Senate."

I am supporting McCain in this election, but didn't hear of the Keating scandal until now. I'm probablynot up on my politics as much as responsible voter should be, soI posted the link here for some more info.Just wondering if there was a different take on this? Was the article embellished by news agencies that are in the tank with Obama? Given the questions, I thought I came to the right place.

Old news . McCain was cleared of any wrongdoing by a DEMOCRAT group that was looking into it. He had told the DUMBOCRATS earlier that there was nothing there to go after McCain but the higher powers so wanted something to stick to McCain. But alas nothing stuck. Now go look at what your Messiah the Community ORganizer did while in ACORN. Actually he shouldnt call himself organizer as much as a strong arm forcing banks to make loans to people that shouldnt have gotten them.

For the Obama-ites... Before y'all go slinging that Keating mud around (long AFTER McCain was cleared of ANY wrongdoing), you might want to google the name "Penny Pritzker" and "Obama" and "Superior Bank"...

Dang IPSC, there you go again. I hate it when all these facts keep getting in the way. Hold on, I'm about to lose my place in the kool-aid line.
