just watched Debate #1 on Youtube
It wasn't a McCain whoopin nor an Obama one.
McCain is clearly much more experienced, he talked from his experience, giving example of where he was, what he did, how he did it, the good the bad and the ugly.
On the military front, McCain is the clear winner though.
McCain didn't want to address that the wealthy will get more tax cuts, they SHOULD they pay the majority of taxes. Obama will hammer that McCain is same old GW Bush and McCain can't do much about that. He needs to find a way though, it looks bad bad.
Obama isn't the speaker I heard he was. He studdered, sputtered, struggled to find his words ...... not impressive for the great speaker he's been labeled as.
Obama didn't want to talk about his huge tax increases ....... obviously, talking about a country in debt and wanting to raise taxes don't set well with voters.
Afghanistan and Iraq were discussed a lot .......... McCain is pro-Iraq occupation, I didn't get the feel Obama was set either in staying or getting out, he didn't really set his foot you know ?
I like Obama less and less, his socialist views ........ that anyone below you on the pay sclae deserves you paying for everything they have to get them up to your level just crosses me to the core. McCain is who I thought he was. i don't like it much but I don't dislike it .......
Yeah, there's going to be alot of processing going on for many Americans during the next two debates, and it will have an effect on the votes come election day, no matter what people say. This could be true for the independents and all those "undecided" voters.
