Default Bailout Deal Is Struck

Quote:
WASHINGTON - Congressional leaders and the White House agreed Sunday to a $700 billion rescue of the ailing financial industry after lawmakers insisted on sharing spending controls with the Bush administration. The biggest U.S. bailout in history won the tentative support of both presidential candidates and goes to the House for a vote Monday.

Will be calling the offices of Inhofe, Coburn and Cole tomorrow morning.

They are voting now. The market tanked from the opening bell in anticipation. This will be a bad week.

Yeah but your Dems and Obama were all for it. Remember Ried? It was a done deal until McCain came to town! You know and I know, McCain didn't derail it. It was doomed from the start.
