Debate Format

Overall, I was impressed with this format. No stupid lights, bells, or warning buzzers. There were no stupid You tube questions, or fully abled grown man in the audience asking each one of them howthey would take care of his lazy sorry butt after they are elected.

They were pretty left to actually debate each other. I thoughtJim Lehrer did a good job of being as invisable as possible, and I wish McCain and Obama would have taken more of the encouragement of Lehrer to address each other and really interact with each other evenmore than they did. I thought it was pretty spirited maybe as close to Lincoln, Douglas as you might get these days.

Yes I agree, it was a very professional debate, the next few months are going to be very interesting for our country

I personally was hoping for more, but maybe the lack of a real decent debate over the past two years, has been making me forget what a real good debate looks like.


I would have to agree with some of the commentators, it was mostly stuff we'd heard before, though I will say this about the debate to its credit, there were no cheap shots in the debate, only valid points that could be countered, and some, not so much, I'll have to agree; it was a professional debate.
