I'm a McCain advocate. I'm definitely voting for McCain. I'm not sure McCain made any headway. I would call it a draw. I don't know that any undecided voters would have been persuaded definitely to go for McCain based on this debate.

But then again, the points McCain made about Obama earmarks were strong points.

I guess I was a little frustrated because I felt McCain could have gone after Obama more strongly on some points. For example, the offshore oil deal where all the Democrats are advocating is drilling at least 50 miles offshore or that Obama favors a taxpayer bailout of wallstreet where McCain favors making those turkeys pay their own way. Additionally, McCain should have hit Obama on the role of Democrats in the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae debacle.

I think Obama showed how little he knows about dealing with foreign governments....not like there was any question about that.
He made a promise to a mother, who lost a son in Iraq, to not let that happen to anyone else yet he wants to invade Pakistan?

What I love about the debate? McCain talking about spending cuts!!!!!!!!! With the budget stealing 3.2 billion out of the economy, we need to cut spending!

Unfortunately, spending cuts are a pipe dream. Any candidate who says he is going to cut spending overprevious years is lying or on meth. The budget has steadily grown for decades and that is not going to change.

I'd say its about even...McCain made some good points and so did Obama. I think they both danced around a few questions but overall don't think either candidate did enough to sway me one way or the other.

Obama was visibly perturbed by McCain who launced an onslaught onto him. McCain showed the lead on foreign policy and any other topic discussed . The best part of it was thatunlike a lot of very stupid democrats who portray him as a senile old man hewas direct to the point and not fishing for words like the anointed one. I liked the part where Obama was raising his hand like a little schoolgirl to get a word in edgewise and McCain ignored him. Priceless
