James Meredith matriculated at the University of Mississippi under the protection of National Guard troops and over the opposition of then Governor George Wallace. This is the reason the Klan is showing up, not because John McCain is a Grand Master of the KKK.

That's just not so. The NAACP is pro-black, not anti-white. Which makes it a lot different than the White Citizen's Council, the Klan and other groups of their ilk. Black colleges are pro-black; they have lots of white sutdents. Do you think UMiss in all its history was just pro-white? Remember what happened to James Meredith?

I think George Wallace 'stood in the schoolhouse door' and said "Segregation yesterday, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever!" in Alabama where he was governor; not in MS.

No way, the NAACP is absolutely a racist organization. They have no fear using race baiting to achieve their objective. Remember, all blacks need not apply. If you don't line up behind us, your not one of us.

I guess you knew that the NAACP was founded by whites and blacks and has usually had whites on its board. Is that similar to the white groups named? Did they include black folks?
