Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Another Liberal Dem joining McCain / Palin

I stumbled across this interesting read today at lunch time. Lifelong Democrat Lynette Long called it 'Principle over Policy and Patriotism Over Promises" in an article posted on her website (http://www.lynettelong.com). Here are a couple of her reasons (she lists 14 total reasons):
1). "Obama casts himself as a candidate of change but he is an old Chicago-style politician. He won his first State Senate race by eliminating all other candidates on technicalities and his U.S. Senate race by opening the sealed divorce file of his opponent and forcing his opponent to withdraw. How can I vote for a candidate who is not who he says he is?"
2). "Nancy Pelosi, in conjunction with other Democratic leaders, paid off superdelegates to get them to vote for Obama. How can I vote for a party that pre-selected its nominee?"
3). "Obama is inexperienced. He has served less than one term in the U.S. Senate of which he has spent most of the time campaigning. How can I support a candidate that does not have the experience to lead this country?"
4). "Obama has numerous questionable associations. There is an old expression, "By his friends, shall ye know him". How can I vote for someone I don't trust?"

Apparently this Liberal Democrat has had enough B.O. Kool-Aid and has taken a stance. Very refreshing indeed.

1.) Sounds like good clean fun campaigning practices, nothing a repub. wouldn't do.
2.) again standard procedure, "paid off" I think this means donations to a candidate,e veryone does it to everyone, just like big tobacco donates the most to both candidates, that way they're covered either way.

3.) experience? personally I'll take intelligences over experience. What experience did GW have? bill clinton? time in the US senate doesn't seem like a big problem for me to get over, experience/ same old is what we're trying to avoid. So I take that as a good thing. Let's rattle the cage in gov't not go with someone who's been there, done nothing. What happened to the John McCain from 5-10yrs ago?

4.) Questionable associations? did you see him on bill oreilly? they asked him about that terrorist friend of his, "friend" you work with someone on something 20yrs later or whatever, if we're talking about 20yrs ago, how about palin's drunk of a husband, driving on roads, drunk, what if that were today? 20yrs ago drunk driving wasn't a big deal, certainly now it is, so why just dismiss that, if you're going to dismiss something from back in the day, either dismiss it all, or none of it. What if the modern day equivalent were to happen, 20yr drunk drive hits/kills someone, are they going to say well in 20yrs you can be the first dude, or don't worry about it, in 20yrs it won't matter.

Have you heard about all the dems, saying they're leaving the country if McCain wins, kinda like enough is enough...would be funny to see if that happens. Personally I'm kinda sick of how my vote doesn't count, its all these swing voters, who won't make up their mind until they're in the voting booth, and then it'll be a toss of the dice, or a vote for who really won't actually help them personally out.

But oh well, its just life, politics, and the good ole USA. Pure entertainment if you ask me.

If that right there isn't reason enough to vote for McCain / PalinI don't know what is.

1.) Sounds like good clean fun campaigning practices, nothing a repub. wouldn't do.
But YOUR candidate is the candidate of 'change'. He is a charlatan and an empty suit.

2.) again standard procedure, "paid off" I think this means donations to a candidate,e veryone does it to everyone, just like big tobacco donates the most to both candidates, that way they're covered either way.
No, paid off as HERE"S MONEY, DO NOT VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCE...not "here's a check for obama or here's a check for clinton". Don't confuse the issue you do not address, with more BS.

Again, there's no addressing of the issue. The 'issue' is the fact that your buddy's been campaigning for office since he got his Senate seat. He runs on "change" while espousing status-quo...you can put lipstick on THAT pig but you still got a pig. So it remains uncontested that he's got no experience other than the cult-like following of liberal skunks who faint at the thought of a black president with a muslim name. Not much of a resumee....

Again, the non-addressing of OBAMA's associations. He calls a murdering terrorist 'friend'. He calls a black separatist racist his 'priest'. His wife has not been proud of her country for her entire life. He does his real-estate deals via a known criminal. And then a-holes will go parading a 20 year old DWI as if it means anything. Libs are vile skunks to attempt to make the scurrilous association that a DWI 20 years ago makes Mr.Palin a drunk. If that's true, then Obama's a frikkin crack ho' for his admitted cocaine use a million years ago, and you want to put a hare-lipped hunchback junkie in the White House.

Im counting on all the dems who:
a: won't go 'black'
b: hold a grudge about how hitlery was treated by the obama campaign
c: are not represented by the socialist party they belong to
d: can NOT vote for the socialists becuase their proposed tax hikes will break the backs of middle
America and drive this country deeper into recession.
e: see the eagerness and glee of socialist leaning countries at the prospect of 'one of their own'
taking power in this country (the muslim countries ESPECIALLY love the idea of this 'muslim'
taking the #1 position in the world....yes, they DO consider him muslim or else he'd have
changed his name).

But oh well, its just life, politics, and the good ole USA. Pure entertainment if you ask me.

The stupidity of dismissing this disgrace as entertainment belies the rest of this ignorant posting which just pukes up the liberal 'line'. This is NOT entertainment, this is the way we choose the leaders of this country. The 'entertainment' you speak of, is that bit of nastiness where you give credibility to an old-line machine politician and call him 'fresh'. Now THAT"S entertainment....
