A song by Diamond Rio that is considered "Politically Incorrect"??

The song you are about to listen to is from a Las Vegas Diamond Rio concert.

They received an immediate resounding standing ovation, and continue to do so every time they perform it! Sadly, major radio stations wouldn't play it because it was considered 'politically incorrect'. Consequently, the song was never released to the public.

Man, I can't believe that even country music stations haven't played it. I think it is a fantastic song - sort of like Lee Greenwood's "God Bless The USA". It probably offends the far left wing, liberal, socialists, so they don't want the song to be released to the radio stations.

I've heard that song on both KLTY Christian radio and KSCS Country in Dallas. It was released on Diamond Rio's Greatest Hits II in 2006. Wherever you got that info, it's pretty badly dated.

Arthur, I got that from the "politics forum" on a duck hunter website. I just cut 'n pasted it word for word (in between the = = = = = signs...

I didn't know Diamond Rio put it out on a Greatest Hits album and/or that radio stations have played it. Either way, it is a fantastic song!

Sure is! It's not going to get a lot of air time on rock, rap or techno stations though.

One point is the song was never released as a single another country staions having a problem with someone singing about god, come on.

Agreed, I'm sure it just wasn't released as one of their singles. Good song though, haven't heard it.
