Default Obama laments debt, but pledges up to $845 billion for world poverty

[/align]One, we shouldn't have to feed the world when we have a near $10 trillion national debt. Two, what is this, give a man a fish every day forever?

Obama Laments Debt, But Promises Billions for Anti-Poverty Program

Barack Obama, who lamented Friday that "śwe have not managed our federal budget with any kind of discipline,"ť is nonetheless promising to spend $50 billion on a United Nations anti-poverty program that critics say will drive up American debt.
"śThe short-term weakness in the capital market is a reflection of long-term problems that we have in our economy,"ť Obama told reporters in Florida. "śWe have been loading up enormous amounts of debt."ť
Yet Obama and his running mate, Joe Biden, have pledged tens of billions in new spending on a U.N. program that promises cash to poor countries. The program is one of eight sweeping "śMillennium Development Goals"ť the U.N. adopted in 2000.
"śObama and Biden will embrace the Millennium Development Goal of cutting extreme poverty around the world in half by 2015, and they will double our foreign assistance to $50 billion to achieve that goal,"ť the candidates vow in their campaign platform.
Johns Hopkins professor Steve Hanke said such spending would merely drive up American debt, while doing almost nothing for the world"™s poor.
"śIt goes down a bureaucratic rat-hole, lining the pockets of people who are connected to the power structure,"ť said Hanke, a senior fellow at the Cato Institute. "śIt"™s basically a system to redistribute income from middle class people in the United States to rich people in poor countries. It never reaches those people who are living on a dollar a day."ť
Hanke said such expenditures are especially unwise in the wake of significant expansions of government and spending during President Bush"™s tenure.
"śWe"™ve been spending like drunken sailors and making obligations into the future like drunken sailors,"ť he said. "śWe"™re on an unsustainable path in terms of the fiscal situation in the United States because of massive spending growth and commitments."ť
Obama said he wants to curtain at least one of those costly commitments.
"śWe have spent well over half a trillion dollars "” soon to be a trillion dollars "” on a war in Iraq, despite the fact that Iraqis are now running surpluses,"ť the Illinois senator said Friday. "śWe"™re still spending $10 billion a month there."ť
But in December, Obama also sponsored the Global Poverty Act which, if passed, would require the president to commit to cutting global poverty in half by 2015. Critics say that would cost American taxpayers $845 billion.
Susan Rice, one of Obama"™s top foreign policy advisers, says the U.S. should give 0.7 percent of its Gross Domestic Product to developing nations.

Mr. Obama, what about the U.S. people. When is someone going to help us? Lets fix our nest, then we can go fix others.

Obama is a sick joke. Much of the aid that he has in mind is for Africa. Except for a few countries in North Africa the place is a total basket case. Nearly all African countries are run by ignorant buffoons. Some of these dictators even claim that the US caused AIDs in Africa. Then there they are with their little handsout when the local crop fails or their meddling with the economy sends the place into starvation.

When we feed them so they don't have to do anything for themselves, they will probably make more babies to get on the US taxpayers' dole. After all, they won't go hungry as long as the people in the US are working hard to feed them!

This reason alone is enough to vote for anyone but Obama!

They need to send them condoms. Uncontrolled population explosion blended with corrupt leadership. You can't usefood as the answer to getthem out of the problems they have. Maybe when Hussein is defeated he will go to Africa and run for president of one of their countries.

Yep condoms would save us sending a lot -a whole lot of moneys- thats already been sent there& will be by the current leaders also in the multi billion dollar USwar on aids in africa. I have mentioned this in the past in the poltical forum & more recently in the off season forum. 1 extra extra large box of condoms.

But its much more complacaited then that- if one where to believe the claims of "some ppl."(and i do not) That The us goverment is also responsable for aids & many other virus,s & deseases & there spread -here & in africa etc etc-" So they say."

I was just looking at some old links on this old pc( Dr dino)( - they been on here -3& 4 yrs now) I looked up the one name mentioned(Dr Horowitz) just now& up pops that rev wrights name & obama & nation of islam etc.

.................................................. ...............

Old link & no longer active- but neither is dr dino at the moment i dont think...i think hes in prison.

Patented plagues yeild misery and money

What do HIV, West Nile Fever, Gulf war syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple sclerosis, Wegener's disease, Parkinson's disease, Crohn's colitis, Type I diabetes, and collagen-vascular diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and Alzheimer's have in common? These plagues were all developed as a joint effort by the money masters and governments of the world under the guise of biowarfare research. Dr. Leonard Horowitz detailed this in his book and video, "Emerging Viruses: AIDS, Ebola and Vaccinations". It's worse than we thought. Much worse. The same folks who give us the diseases are selling us the treatments. It's a racket and it involves our heads of state.
In laboratories throughout the United States and a certain number in Canada, including the University of Alberta, the U.S. government provided the leadership for the development of the AIDS virus for the purpose of population control. (I personally suspect it's more about resource extraction by the people who have the gold) After they had it perfected, they sent medical teams from the Centers for Disease Control to Africa and other mid-eastern countries where they thought the population was becoming too large. They gave them all a free vaccination for smallpox, with a 'tainted batch'. Five years after receiving this smallpox vaccination, 60% of them were suffering from AIDS. They tried to blame it on a monkey, which is nonsense.
But it doesn't stop there...the money masters aren't done yet, not by a long shot. It's not even about war, it's about global economic domination, and spreading disease is only one of the things they're up to.
Anyway, many of the rest of these new plagues are derived from a common pathogenic mycoplasma. There are 200 species of mycoplasmas. Most are innocuous and do no harm; only four or five are pathogenic. The Mycoplasma fermentans (incognitus strain) probably comes from the nucleus of the brucellosis bacteria. This disease agent is not a bacteria, and not a virus; it is a mutated form of the brucellosis bacteria (from cows), mutated with a visna virus (from sheep), from which the mycoplasma is extracted. Dr. Maurice Hilleman, chief virologist for the pharmaceutical company of Merck, Sharpe and Dohme, stated that this disease agent is now carried by everybody in North America and possibly most people throughout the world. You need documented evidence. Check out Special Virus Cancer Program: Progress Report 8, prepared by National Cancer Institute, Viral Oncology, Etiology Area, July, 1971 and submitted to NIH Annual Report in May, 1971 and updated July, 1971. www.boydgraves.com (No longer functioning) has copies from the US Library of Congress, including a flowchart which clearly shows that the HIV virus has been DNA-targeted toward ethnic Africans. (another population control comment) Please see also "West Nile Fever Virus (NYC Encephalitis Outbreak) sent to Iraq

But i brought this up a few yrs back in the relgious forum - Asking reguardless of his relgious messages- wasnt this kinda stuff a bit off base of any relgious messages &didnt they think it could possibly be dangerious this "stuff"Dr D was speading & that such rumors could also be used by variousppl aginst the US goverment & its ppl by various groups( here& overseas etc) Course i got no response. Back then ppl seem to admire the guy & helped by mentioning him & help himsell his wares he was selling etc( Cd,s dvd,d trinkets etc ) They & my own son even told me about Dr d & what a good guy he was for doing gods work.

I see now where this rev wright got some of his ideas maybe.
