Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Hunting Politics

DISCLAIMER: This may be the wrong forum for this type of post, but i'm sure it will gain some good insight from many who frequent it.

I'm somewhat aprehensive of offering up a post like this, as it is often times a heated topic. With the election year upon us, and the clock counting down to November 4th, I was wondering what everyone was thinking about the canidates this year and the policies they areserving up.Not so much foreign policy, or the war, or the economy for that matter, but what will they do to help us as hunters? What are they doing as far as land conservation, natural resource development, weapons permits, ect...

We all have opinions and parties and such that lead us one way or the other, but who is gonna do the best to help us out as hunters?

Kinda makes me wonder how anyone who values the environment, the future of theUS economy, or future of public education could ever vote for another republican.

This guy will be voting for Obama.

If you want some idea of what obama would do in those areas, just go down in the midwest section and take a look at the threads discussing whathis buddy Blagovich has been doing as governor of Illinois.

You have to have freedom to hunt so I vote Republican. Most issues that effect hunting directly are at the state level (unless Democrats have their way) in the Eastern half of the country. Out west it's a different story with some States being over 80% federal land. Democrats talk a good game about being for the environment but these days that translates into anti-hunting greenpeace types making the decisions. No thanks. I vote for personal freedom over "security".

Which ticket has the moose hunter?

Not I!! Way to much gun control on the democratic side of things!! I really don't care for any of them to begin with but I do know this that voting for a republican will help keep guns In my house without someone telling me I can't!! Just my 2 cents!!
